Bill Hjort graduated from Milaca High School in 1981 and from St. Olaf College with a degree in economics in 1985. After college he worked for ten years with the federal agencies FDIC and RTC closing and liquidating banks and savings and loans, with the last three years at the headquarters in Washington D.C. After a half year in Denver and a year in Park Rapids, MN working in real estate, Bill moved back to work with his dad Bob in the family business. Bill has 3 kids he enjoys spend time with. Additional interests include spending time at "the land", growing vegetables, playing hockey, camping, and vacationing with his family.
